In the Engineering department, our engineers are on the front line, responding to some of the exciting challenges and opportunities in the transport industry.
Engineering professionals use research and innovative ideas to continue improving the services our Government provides. They skilfully apply systems and future-thinking to some of the challenges facing our transport system today. Their evidence-based advice supports policy decisions and helps to deliver a better service for everybody in the State.
The Engineering Department is charged with the following Responsibilities:
The Engineering Division utilizes the Department’s Performance Improvement Model (PIM) as the framework for achieving its vision, mission & values. The E-D promotes career development, provides training opportunities, and provides challenging and diverse assignments.
Some of our responsibilities:
Develop and deliver transportation projects and provide related specialty expertise,
Develop and issue technical policies, standards, and guidance.
Provide technical training for ourselves and our stakeholders,
Rendering consultancy services on mechanical engineering matters.
