Hon. Bamanga Inspects GMBIA Terminal Extension Ahead of International Operations*
In line with Governor Zulum’s commitment to improving air transport infrastructure, the Honourable Commissioner for Transport and Energy, Hon. Aliyu Bamanga, has inspected the ongoing extension works at the General Muhammadu Buhari International Airport (GMBIA), Maiduguri.
The inspection was carried out to assess the level of preparedness of the new terminal facilities for commissioning and commencement of full international flight operations.
Hon. Bamanga expressed satisfaction with the progress achieved so far and reaffirmed the Ministry’s support in ensuring the successful take-off of international operations at the airport.
