HON. BAMANGA INSPECTS SINGLE-CIRCUIT TRANSMISSION LINE PROJECT FROM DAMATURU TO MAIDUGURI

Under the leadership of His Excellency, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, the Honourable Commissioner for Transport and Energy, Hon. Aliyu Muhammad Lawan Buba (Bamanga), embarked on an inspection tour of the ongoing 33kV single-circuit transmission line project linking Maiduguri and Damaturu.

Accompanied by the ministry’s monitoring/technical team, the Commissioner thoroughly assessed the quality and progress of the works, reiterating the state government’s commitment to reliable power supply for the people of Borno State.

He emphasized adherence to project timelines and strict compliance with established standards to deliver on His Excellency’s vision for top-quality infrastructure.

Hon. Bamanga commended the level of work achieved so far, encouraging the project team to intensify their efforts as the project nears completion. He also appreciated the dedication of the site engineers and the security personnel safeguarding the installation along the transmission corridor.

The visit highlights Hon. Bamanga’s consistent and reliable approach to ensuring that critical power infrastructure projects are executed efficiently and to specification.
